Moldavite, or vltavín, was formed by the impact of a large meteorite on Earth. This event occurred millions of years ago and led to the creation of Moldavite in the South Bohemian region. The meteorite impact generated intense heat and pressure, causing the surrounding rock to melt, from which Moldavite later formed. Read more HERE

• Where is Moldavite most commonly found?

Moldavite is found in the strewn fields between Prachatice, České Budějovice, and the town of Trhové Sviny. The richest strewn fields are around Chlum nad Malší, Nesměň, Dobrovská Lhotka, and Besednice. Moldavite is found in sediments and typically lies about 1 to 2 meters below the surface, although it can sometimes be found on the ground surface.

Moldavite is known for its green to brownish color and its diverse surface sculptures. Each location produces Moldavite with slightly different coloring and sculptures, making each stone unique. Among the main locations where Moldavite is found is Besednice, which produces the most beautiful and rarest specimens. Their surface is characterized by a ragged texture, and their color ranges from light green to dark brown.

- Send the item to our address (please insure the package; we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages)

Please note that returns or exchanges do not apply to jewelry that:

- Was custom-made

- Has been worn

- Is not in its original packaging and is missing accessories

- Has had the ring size adjusted at your request

- Has been altered by another jeweler

- Has had the ring size adjusted

Complaints

All our jewelry comes with a 2-year warranty. If you do not have our Service and Lifetime Warranty

In the event of a complaint being accepted, we cover all costs, including postage, and resolve the complaint within a maximum of 30 days. This means repairing your jewelry or refunding your money.
